On Tuesday, August 26th, 3 million oysters, purchased with donated funds raised by the Magothy River Association, were planted on the Rock Point oyster reef. The Magothy River Association oyster restoration program is now celebrating its 50th year of rebuilding the oyster population that is so vital to the health of the river, and the Bay. JOLLY DOLPHIN carried 8 MRA members and volunteers out to view the event. Our great thanks and appreciation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and to the crew of the PATRICIA CAMPBELL for their continued support and assistance.

Over three years MRA has received $18,340.42 from JOLLY DOLPHIN’s participation in GCBSR’s Virtual Race Fundraiser.
