A 26 knot headwind with gusts to 40 was forecast so we abandoned the planned trip to Oxford to watch the Log Canoe races Saturday and Sunday August 10th and 11th. Thanks Debby, which moved through quickly and left a nice weekend. Sad to have missed it.
The new pier at Riverdale is about a foot and a half higher than the one just replaced.
