(See You tube living history <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eBxpShMfZZg&amp;authuser=0\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eBxpShMfZZg&amp;authuser=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#40a020\" class=\"has-inline-color\">video<\/mark><\/a> for the JOLLY DOLPHIN) This virtual race is based on donations. The race is a unique fundraiser and an exciting opportunity to \u201crace\u201d these beautiful and historic vessels down the bay and raise money for MRA at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are calling upon all people who love the Magothy to help MRA raise money for our oyster restoration program by participating in this race . The more donations we received the faster the JOLLY DOLPHIN sails down the Bay. Last year we placed second and we were able to raise $5000.00, This year we plan to reach and exceed that amount.<br>Raising money this year has become a priority for MRA because funding for the Maryland Grow Oyster program was cut causing MRA to pay $3,000 to buy seed oysters for the 160 Magothy River oyster growers who participate in the MGO program. We hope your donations to the VGCBS race will offset this unexpected expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For donations We have set up a unique fundraising link for the JOLLY DOLPHIN.
